Why is Papa New Guinea very different from Australia and New Zealand

Australia and New Zealand were and are greater with regards to technology and wealth than Papa New Guinea cause of their past. When the Great Powers (or large dominating countries), like England, had less space in their regions and came to the southern part of the world. They preferred Australia and New Zealand over Papa New Guinea for many reasons which include geography, connection to the western world and plentiful resources.


Papua new Guinea was an island covered with dense jungle and very few natural resources. The tarrow root was one of its few resources grow on the island. Today because of the hot, wet climate Papua New Guinea is still very primitive compared to many other places in the world. Its is basically inhabited by native peoples from the region. This is on of the main reasons why it was not settled by the europeans or people from the western world. On the other hand Australia and New Zealand had a lot of things to offer the western world.


When the Western world came and made new livings they brought their special goods and resources only England a great power would have and moved these resources to these countries which made it more advance cause since at England they had wagons, machinery, houses, and many other Goods or what we call tech and were brought to these places. When the Western World left Papa New Guinea the people their were Natives and could only live with what they had and since it was left they would never change and develop in to the modern world., Because they didn't receive any tech and was not under control by a country. Australia and New Zealand had these tech they traded with other powers which made an even bigger advancement cause more new things come that are unknown to you and makes more ideas which is better.



Why the Western World moved to A and NZ cause of a main thing for land and resources. The Western World mostly needed land cause they had prisons that were taking up to much space and needed a larger area and they heard of this region and went. When they arrived they then wanted the resources, Papa New Guinea had coconuts, fish, lumber, and palm trees when Australia and New Zealand had lumber fish, water, metals, minerals, fruits, land for farming, and much more. When the Western World moved and brought their goods they had ideas and used the resources and added it with something of theirs and developed it there and started doing that. like add salt to fish and these resources were able enough to feed everyone. Unlike England which seemed to get over populated and started to run out of resources just like us with oil crisis today.


Papa New Guinea is very different from Australia and New Zealand in both technology and wealth. This was a result of the western world focusing more on Australia and New Zealand than Papua New Guinea. Location, geography, resources and there connection to the western world made australia and New Zealand into the important countries they are today. Both are rich in both technology and wealth because of this.
