How our groups discussion helped your understanding of the novel.

Every  tuesday (when we have a novel) after a discussion I leave class always with something new my head.So every time I speak sometimes I know what im saying and I dont follow along the lit circle cause i've read. But when someone talks to you and says their passage. They've explained in full detail about the passage.Than when you turn on the page the passage on you will have a great understanding of the passage and how it can effect the rest of the book. For example when Jacobs Mother dies then Jacob has to go to kenya in search of his father. If she didn't die the book would be changed in a difrent perpective of Jacob. In shorter it helps you understanding of the book cause someone explains the passage then you be able to know how this passage has an impact on the story.Plus you will know clearly like you are an expert about the passage.

. Connections that I made during your discussion
During the discussion I made a a whole lot connections during it.Like when I found out that someone but the same vocabulary word which made me not say mine cause why would someone repeat what someone else just said. An additional  connection is when someone said a passage, and repled using how he felt when this event happened.I felt the same way he did.I actually learned that connections can be from a book, movie, event in your life, friend, anything that has something in it about the connection you've talked about.

Predictions
A prediction is you take a guess about what might happen in the future or what might happen to you if you do something so basically all the possibilities that could happen if you did something. So during the book I came to an event where a man named Supeet revives Jacob because he was severely hurt. Then I knew from my knowledge well it says a man named Supeet helps Jacob on his journey. Then immediately then I knew he was going to help Jacob. And I got that right about what I thought thats happening in the book.
