My Hometown Reflection

For my recent presentation in Humanities I did an analysis of my hometown, North Las Vegas.I looked at how Las Vegas was established and prospered.I think I did very well in the topic of Historical factors in my presentation. Since its my hometown I was very interested in learning how the city was established. Along with that, I like learning history of anything (which I really dont know why). I just happen to enjoy history which means that I read a wiki page about the establishment. Which lead me to putting more effort in Historical factors than any other topic of the presentation.I actually didn't think my graphics were bad since I live in North Las Vegas because nobody can live in the city of Las Vegas. Since Las Vegas is known more than my town there are more pictures due to landmarks and tourism,but my city barely has events or things that gain more attention to people.For example My city has a Very powerful Police force because of several reasons.

In my presentation I would try to improve in eye contact with the audience. first because I practiced at the last minute and I couldn't remember the information. So I had to face the screen to read.Which looked like I was speaking to nobody but me. I would also need to put more information since I only had the basic info and more details that starts a fact of the basic info. I learned from my presentation a numerous things to improve. For example,I compared my presentation to other peoples and I noticed I didn't put as much information as others which I knew It would lower my grade. Also most of them knew exactly what they were doing unlike me, although I did practice at the last minute but still, I'm still proud of what Ive done.
